Hello, my name is Jordan Dunham and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a 4-8 math teaching certification at The University of Texas at Dallas. I am in my last semester, and am currently teaching a 6th grade math class.

I went to Garland ISD schools for elementary, middle, and high school. Halfway through my junior year in high school I decided to take an opportunity to transfer to Richland Collegiate High School and simultaneously earn my high school diploma and Associate of Arts degree. I also played volleyball throughout high school and volunteered at Helping Hands, an organization that provides clothing to those in need.

While in high school, I tutored peers in math. It was so much fun for me to help them understand something they were struggling with! I loved seeing their expression when they finally understood a difficult concept. I know math can be challenging, but that is what makes it so rewarding! I plan to build each of my students' confidence in both math and their ability to understand complex ideas. I know that all  students are highly capable of growth and I look forward to growing them into confident young adults.
